Wow, over 200 CloudCamps over the past 3 years … thanks in part to awesome PDX organizers like Alex Williams, Thomas Lockney and others. Tropo has been a big supporter of CloudCamp and has moved right along with it as we’ve become more focused more and more on the needs of the Enterprise (private clouds, hybrid clouds, security, etc.). After reading some recent tweets and speaking with some campers, CloudCamp founder Dave Nielsen decided that one way to keep the edge is to create a new camp with a new name … ScaleOutCamp.

ScaleOutCamp is exactly what it sounds like. An unconference where we can discuss platforms, tools and services that help us scale-out our apps.
