The weather’s been a bit strange lately here in North America and one easy way to see that is to take a quick look at the outside temperatures at our offices around the globe. Yesterday was particularly bizarre because the temp here at my home office up in Keene, New Hampshire, was warmer than it was 1,000 miles south in Orlando, Florida! Here’s what the weather looked like at about 9am yesterday morning (all temperatures in Fahrenheit):

Fast forward 24 hours and the northeast US (where I am) is back to frigid winter temps, complete with snow on the ground, and Florida has plunged even deeper into an unseasonable freeze:

I find it interesting that our temperature here in New Hampshire right now is the same as the temp in Beijing, China! And San Francisco? Well, it’s San Francisco… always fairly moderate. Being a global company, it’s fun (for me, at least) to take a glimpse like this and see what our employees around the world are experiencing for weather.

P.S. If you are wondering about how I got these weather reports in this format, I just added the “weather” widget on the Apple Mac OS X Dashboard multiple times and set the location for each widget. Then I just took a screenshot when I had the Dashboard up.
